Even more than questions about destinations and vacation planning, the question we are most often asked is "How does this work?" It's absolutely a valid question! Because getting a free travel planner definitely seems too good to be true and we have been well-trained to be skeptical in this digital age. So let me share with you how our services work and how we are able to offer them for free... it is a tale of mutual trust.
YOUR TRUST IN US
We LOVE what we do! So much that we invest a lot of time, energy, and our own money in ongoing training, education, and personal experience. We want to make sure we always have the BEST options for you and the most current information and tips to share with you. We want you to know that our #1 priority is you and your vacation experience. There is a reason we are called Magical Memory Planners! Travel builds stronger connections and creates lifelong memories and we would never take that lightly. So we use our extensive knowledge and experience to personally match you to options we feel would be a great fit for you and your family. We aren't building OUR dream vacation... we are building YOURS! This is why we ask lots of questions; we want to get to know you and your priorities. We feel so honored that you would trust us with your vacation and we hold that honor with the weight it deserves.
We want to hold and further build your trust so we work hard for you. If you have questions, we answer them as quickly as we can. If you want advice, we will happily offer it. If you need to make changes, we handle that for you. If something is less than magical on your vacation, we step in and advocate for you so that things are turned around and the magic is restored. You have a personal travel concierge and we often hear that our clients feel like they are our only clients because of the level of care they receive. That is always our goal!
And we never ask our clients for a single penny for our services; that is not our business model. But we do get paid!
OUR TRUST IN YOU
Our time and expertise are valuable and we deserve to be compensated for it. This is where our trust in our clients comes in. We are not paid for our consultation time. So the time we invest before you book your vacation is given on good faith. We get to know you and your vacation wishes, suggest some options, pull price quotes, and offer advice upfront with no compensation.
We only get paid when you actually book your vacation with us.
You see, the vacation destination pays us a small fee as a thank you for sending happy, well-prepared visitors to them. They know that when you work with us, it will be a good match and you will be confident in what your vacation experience should be. They also know we will step in if it's not. Ha ha ha. But we all want you to have an amazing vacation, because when you do you are more likely to return and to recommend not only the destination, but our travel planning services as well.
It's a win-win-win situation. You get expert travel planning services for free, the vacation destination gets happy vacationers who make magical memories with them, and we can pay our bills.
If you just need advice or resources, please be up front with us about that. We are always happy to help! But it honors us and our time if we know up front that you will not be booking your vacation with us this time.
OUR PROMISES TO YOU
1. We will always honor your priorities. This is not our vacation... it's yours.
2. We will always honor your budget. Being stressed about money is not a fun way to spend your vacation. We would never encourage you to spend more than you have budgeted for your vacation.
3. We will always be available to you and if we are traveling, we will notify you with a direct contact for you to call in our absence. We've got you covered 24/7.
4. We will always be so grateful for every vacation you book with us and every referral you send our way. In fact, when your family or friends book their vacation with us, we will send you a Disney or Visa gift card as a thank you.

Do you have food allergies, food sensitivities, or other food issues? Whenever you plan a vacation, do you if there’ll be anything you can eat? Will you be left snacking on sugar-free, gluten-free snacks like ice cubes?
Even just a decade ago, the theme park food landscape was pretty bleak for people with food allergies or sensitivities. Yet these days, there still might only be one or two options on the menu. However, most places at least give a nod to people with food issues.
On the other hand, if you have special dietary needs, read on to find out what kinds of foods Disney Parks are serving for people like you!

The short answer is YES! A lot!
Having special dietary restrictions or food sensitivities can quickly take the fun out of vacation, especially if you can’t find anything yummy and safe to eat. In true Disney fashion, they go above and beyond when it comes to catering to a wide variety of special diets.
Quick Service Meals
Most quick service places are burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches. Not eating wheat pretty much rules these options out for many people with food sensitivities. Except, it doesn’t! If you let your cashier know what your food restrictions are, they will send the manager out to discuss your options with you. Each manager has been trained to know ALL of the ingredients in everything they offer as well as how to specially prepare food for those with allergies and restrictions. Need a gluten free meal? No problem! They have gluten free buns and even gluten free brownies. The manager will prepare your meal separately on a special tray to avoid cross contamination. Sugar free? Easy! They have lots of sugar free options. No dairy? No problem. Nut free? No shellfish? Can’t eat eggs? No soy? Other restrictions? They will go through all the ingredients in everything in your meal with you to be sure you are not exposed to anything that will make you sick. Vegan? Same deal. FYI, the famous Dole Whip is vegan and gluten free, so enjoy! :)
Table Service Meals
If you mention to your host or server that you have dietary restrictions (and mention it when you make the dining reservations as well), the chef will personally come to your table and either go through the menu items with you or walk you through the buffet line to point out items that are safe for you to eat. At one of our meals, I ended up with only 1 item on the entire buffet that I could eat, so the chef asked if he could make something special just for me. I was delighted! He asked if there were any foods that I didn’t like and then disappeared into the kitchen. About ten minutes later, he personally delivered my meal to me and explained what was in it. He made me a gorgeous salad and the best salmon I have ever eaten. Not only did I have a wonderful meal, I pretty much felt like royalty.
Snacks vary greatly, but most are centered around sugar. You can ask the cast member about ingredients and they will do their best to help you select a snack you can eat. The best place to find allergy free snacks is at Animal Kingdom at Garden Kiosk near Adventurer’s Outpost. They sell nothing but various allergy free snacks and are experts at helping you select restaurants that will suit your dietary needs! I hope the other parks will soon open similar snack spots.
New Gluten Free Menus
New gluten free menus are now being tested at the following locations at Disney World:

I am happy to help you make any arrangements needed for special dining needs. With a little planning and the information above, your dietary restrictions won't take the magic out of your Disney vacation!
