Picture
Do you have food allergies, food sensitivities, or other food issues? Whenever you plan a vacation, do you if there’ll be anything you can eat? Will you be left snacking on sugar-free, gluten-free snacks like ice cubes?

Even just a decade ago, the theme park food landscape was pretty bleak for people with food allergies or sensitivities. Yet these days, there still might only be one or two options on the menu. However, most places at least give a nod to people with food issues.

On the other hand, if you have special dietary needs, read on to find out what kinds of foods Disney Parks are serving for people like you!

Moon Palace, Cancun Review: Confessions of an All-Inclusive Skeptic

Picture
Can I be honest with you? I never wanted to go to an all-inclusive resort. I’d even told Jo more than once that I never wanted to go to one. Ever. So when she earned a 5-day, 4-night trip to Moon Palace, Cancun, Mexico an all-inclusive beach resort, I said, “I’ll pass.” I know what you’re thinking. What a party pooper!

So, Jo invited her youngest sister to go with her. Which was great, because I wasn’t crazy about going to an all-inclusive beach resort. I had my reasons why I didn’t want to go (see a theme developing here?), but here are a few:
  • I don’t love the beach. I’ll gladly go with my family, but it isn’t my first choice.
  • I don’t enjoy lying around at the pool. I enjoy swimming, but not sitting for hours (like I imagined we’d do).
  • A lot of people go to these resorts for the food. However, I’m not a foodie. I don’t get excited about food. As long as I’m not hungry, I’m not picky.
  • We had also never left our kids with anyone for more than a weekend (a weekend trip to Asheville, only 3.5 hours away). I knew that if I took this trip with Jo, we’d be thousands of miles and a full day of travel away from our kids, in a completely different country.
